Amy L. Kronengold is co-founder of Danz & Kronengold, P.L.  Mrs. Kronengold concentrates her practice in the representation of employers, both private and public-sector, in labor and employment law matters.  She devotes her time to both advising employers regarding compliance and preventative measures; and defending against claims of discrimination and retaliation, and wage and hour lawsuits before state and federal courts.  Mrs. Kronengold also represents employers in investigations and enforcement actions conducted by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Department of Labor and similar state agencies.

Mrs. Kronengold’s primary goal when working with management is to prevent an employment issue from reaching the point of litigation.  She conducts compliance audits and provides advice to clients on a wide range of workplace issues, such as hiring and separation, discipline, response to and investigation of harassment and discrimination complaints, and wage and hour issues.  Mrs. Kronengold also assists with the development of policies and procedures for preventing employment claims from arising, and conducts management and supervisory training.

Mrs. Kronengold also devotes a portion of her practice to the assistance and representation of individuals in employment related matters or conflicts. Following a termination or other significant change in employment status or work conditions, she is available to consult, advise and when necessary initiate legal action on behalf of her client. Such actions range from claims for unpaid overtime or minimum wage under the FLSA, retaliation and discrimination claims under state and federal statutes, and related issues. Mrs. Kronengold's years of experience representing employers provides her with a valuable perspective when assisting individuals, often allowing her to reach mutually beneficial resolutions to these employment disputes.

Mrs. Kronengold regularly advises employers and has presented several seminars to clients and professional organizations regarding various employment related topics, including sexual harassment, hiring/firing practices, and wage and hour compliance.
